Dec 20, 2024I’ve had several horrible experiences at David’s bridal in Johnson City. Last year my best friend was getting married and we went to David’s for her to try on dresses. But consultants are extremely inexperienced, you fill out a form online so that they could maybe have some dresses ready for you and they have nothing ready for you. They have very limited sizes that you can even try on. It’s very public where you have to try your dresses on. The consultant doesn’t seem to know that this is someone’s very special day. They do not treat you special at all. It’s like they don’t want you to try on dresses. We ended up leaving feeling very disappointed . We then went to Bristol bridal station and had an amazing experience there. Myself and the other bridesmaids did get our dresses at David’s. They take forever to order and actually arrive and then when they did arrive, one of the bridesmaids dress was the complete wrong color completely David’s bridals fault. The staff was not concerned, nor did they apologize or offer to do anything to remedy the situation. They did then order the correct dress, but the arrival date was set to be one day before the wedding! The staff did not care they really do not care there! About six months later, I am engaged and I go to David’s bridal against my better judgment. It was just me and my maid of honor and again the experience was horrible. The consultant did not know what she was doing. She had nothing ready. She was trying to tell us. We could only try on three dresses. You have to do all the work there. I don’t know what the consultants actually do there. They are not actually trying to sell dresses. They don’t listen to you. They do not give you a good experience. I left there and went onto curvaceous consignment and had an amazing experience there. It’s very odd that you can get better service at a consignment store then David’s bridal. 100% do not recommend .
