The alterations to add my prosthetic breast was amazing!!I HAVE NOTHING BUT KINDS WORDS FOR THE ENTIRE STAFF!!
I had a great experience. I was not rushed or ignored.
I was very disappointed with my dress shopping experience at David’s Bridal. For my first appointment, I had to book a late time due to availability and coordinating with friends. The consultant was nice but seemed like she didn’t want to be there. She also kept pushing me toward a sale dress I didn’t like, making me feel like she just wanted me to get out of there. I didn’t find "the one" and left feeling underwhelmed. A few days later, I returned alone, hoping for a better experience, but it was even worse. The consultant was so quiet and timid that I felt completely unsupported. Shopping alone already felt a little sad and embarrassing, and interacting with her made it more difficult. I ultimately chose a dress, but honestly, I felt rushed into it since it was my second visit, and I just wanted the process to be over. I didn’t even want to ring the bell because I wasn’t feeling good about my experience. Because my wedding was coming up soon, she convinced me to buy the floor model. It was a little dirty, but she reassured me it could be steamed. She made it seem like that would be complimentary. Then, at checkout, she asked if I wanted to create an account. I declined, and only after I paid did she mention that without an account, I’d have to pay $10 for a bag—but with an account, it would be $5. I then remembered I had already made an account at home, but she made me create another one anyway—so I was able to get a bag. I'm not sure what I would have gotten without paying the $5, nothing? I feel like with such a large purchase a bag would be included. To make matters worse, she casually told me that David’s Bridal alterations were overpriced and suggested I go elsewhere. When she handed me the dress, she expected me to leave without any mention of the cleaning she had promised. I had to ask about it, and only then did the alterations person come over to tell me how much it would cost. I left feeling so uncomfortable and upset that I cried on the way home. This was supposed to be a joyful experience, but instead, it was stressful, rushed, and full of hidden costs. I truly regret not shopping somewhere else.
