08 Mar International Women’s Day 2021
Celebrating our employees-turned-models
This International Women’s Day we’re celebrating a few David’s Bridal employees turned real-life-models! As a result of the curve ball that 2020 threw at us, we pivoted our marketing strategy to feature real David’s employees in our campaigns. Who better to model our latest looks than the women behind our brand?!
As a company that is comprised of 96% women who have the honor of serving millions of women every day, tapping into our DB family of incredible women was a no brainer.
We have always proudly boasted our mentality of ‘here for every bride’- and now, every bride can see real women reflected in our marketing assets! Read on to meet some of the amazing women from all areas of the business – from merchandising, to marketing, to customer service – and scroll through some of our favorite images from the past year!
What is one thing you learned this year?
“One thing this year has taught me is to take a step back, enjoy and appreciate life’s simplicities that we tend to take for granted when we’re moving so quickly!” – Melissa T.
What was your favorite team collaboration?
“My favorite team collaboration would definitely have to be our Spring 21 shoot! It was truly an ‘all hands on deck’ kind of project and the result was stunning! It was really great getting to work so closely with a few different teams to produce such stunning imagery…especially during the pandemic! Getting to see everything come to life, from start to finish, was definitely fun to experience!” – Jessica D.
What are some words you’d use to describe the women in your life?
“Words I would use to describe the strong women in my life are resilient, brave, ambitious, and devoted!” – Shamia E.

“I am my most confident self when surrounded by friends & family or when I’m wearing an outfit I love! – Genny R.
Evan C. – Senior Director Supply Chain Innovation / Pamela F. – Senior Buyer
What’s your modeling secret weapon?
“My secret modeling weapon is my smile! I hear it’s very contagious, so smile for me beautiful!” – Jessica M.
How do you juggle mom-life and work-life?

What’s your favorite moment from set?
“Definitely the end of one shoot, where we recreated Rachel, Monica, and Phoebe from friends, in wedding dresses on the couch!” – Angela R.
